Hi Does anybody know the Motoreva cam belt harmonic meter? And where can one get it in europe? best regards Peterr
Pretty sure you can only get it from them on their website $249 Sealey Tools also do/did something similar, may be worth a look? If I can find the catalogue I'll give you more details.
www.clavis.co.uk have a meter specifically for Ducati. Probably costs a lot but may be an alternative for you.
www.clavis.co.uk Looks pretty expensive! I got some response from another forum about this theme. They think that a guitar tuner app for Iphone or Android could do the job. Interresting thougt. Thanks for your help Best regards Peter
well I downloaded an android app used for measuring frequency. my mate is a guitarist and had a pro tuning meter..we did a head to head and compared the frequencies. to my amazement the phone app was cock on and as accurate as his meter. ....there ya go treat yaself to an iphone or android !!!
I use the free gStrings App on Android with no problems at all. Set it to Auto tune. The belt tension for new belts is an A, 110Hz I also have a Sony Chromatic tuner for the actual guitar and it corresponds to within tenths of Hz, which is more than accurate enough for belt tensioning.
