I seem to have a recurring problem with fury fairing insulation on my 1000ss. Does the fairing insulation serve any other purpose than to go mouldy? I was thinking of removing it permanently. Has anyone done this and are there any unforeseen consequences of not having it fitted? Thanks. Jason.
Cheers. I don't think any of us are too worried about a little extra noise. Let's face it we wouldn't be riding Ducatis otherwise. Thinking about it I may have some mould protector somewhere. I'm tempted to remove them to be honest as they've started to flap down a bit at the front just above where the air intakes are and even though no one else notices it, it's annoying me.
