  5. Not exactly the prettiest thing on two wheels, is it? And what's with the two gold pipes running around under the tank? I don't know if they still do, but Mahindra used to make a copy of the American C7 Jeep that was fairly basic but reknowned for being incredibly reliable - if that transfers across to their bikes then they may be a cheap way onto two wheels... The cost of buying one of these then throwing it away after the winter is probably less than the depreciation a decent sportsbike would suffer from a winter's use...

  6. They still make the Jeep. It's a damn ugly looking thing (much like this bike abomination for £500) but hey, it gets the job done.

  7. 60mph, 200mpg, and a 5 year warranty for £500! It might not be pretty but if you need a cheap commuter hack it looks like the bargain of the century! I bet the price is in India, not shipped the the UK?

  8. Clearly aimed at the Indian market - it has a full chain guard and sari guard, for the owner's wife to sit side-saddle on the pillion seat holding the kids.

  9. Ah, but has it got a goat holder ???

  10. So, where do you put your goat holder?

  11. I have had three chinese 125's, a Yamasaki (stolen at 1 month old) a Sanya SY125 (I did 15,000 totally trouble free miles, and sold it to my brother who still has it. 5 years old now and still looks new) and the second Yamasaki which was written off last year after going through the front of a renault clio.

No problems with any of them, so I seriously doubt the mahindra will be any different.
