  3. Arthur...show this one to the Baron it may make him get a multi! Lol 5min plus for a bit of mud...doesn't seem to slow him down

  4. Did a bit of a track in the Alps last year; hardly off road but at least the bike kept running after the water splash at the end.

  6. A bit off topic but why do so many GS riders insist on riding standing up through town etc. ?

  8. standing up can actually help with low speed manoeuvring, I sometimes do it on my Mutleym does that make me a merchant banker :eek:

  12. standing while riding is awesommmmmeeeee!!!!!! :upyeah:

    plus you get the clean air through the helmet and avoid the stupid turbulence of the windscreen!

  13. MJW61, question??????????? if it doesn't aide with slow manoeuvring why does Dougie Lapmkin not have a seat, someone did explain the physics of it, something to do with more weight distributed directly onto the pegs, :eek:

  16. Off road, I can understand. Anchoring yourself on pegs, not get jolted around, knees ready to bend to absorb bumps like skiing.

    Through town? C'mon. Ever seen those escorts on bicycles racesd and marathons?

    Next thing they'll be hanging off negotiating a mini-roundabout. O...
