I've decided after much thought and indecision ( if that makes sense!) to sell my 999S and move on to pastures new, i've been lured away by an Aprilia rsv4 Factory...but before I go I would just like to express my appreciation and sincere thanks to the guys (and gal!) on this forum for their deep knowledge and willingness to help and answer questions on all sorts of tech stuff and everything else, this really is probably the best forum out there!...I will dip my toe in the water from time to time so to speak, all the best to everyone... adios amigos
you will regret selling ya 999... You might not regret buying a rsv4 but you will rue the day you sold ya duke... Just saying... hope you like the new steed and you do know that you don't have to leave the forum just because you have lost your mind! ?
Yeah, I know I'll probably regret it, just got itchy feet and needed a change, couldn't afford to keep the duc and buy the factory as well, may well get another (r model ) some day, if I can afford one, won't be leaving the forum, just might not be posting as regularly as I did. Btw.. keep an eye on the items for sale section I'll be listing a few goodies shortly.
it is a sad reality that sometimes some of us have to sell stuff... Really sad... I hate it... But at least ya selling to try something else and not to pay bills an shit! That's a plus!!
"I've no idea how much I've spent over the years on mods and trick bits for it (if I totted it all up and told the missus she would probably divorce me!.),at the end of the day for me its not about the money its more about how it makes me feel when I open my garage doors,i have no intention of selling.... " Someone once said...
You may be going to the dark side but you can still stay and continue to contribute. We're not racialist
Have you tried "man maths" in order to afford both? We have some professors in man-math on this site.
Mate, IMO you're doing the right thing, unpopular on a Ducati forum as it may be to say. V4 will be a great tool but please buy from a reputable dealer - I was at the track on Tuesday and there was a guy there in my garage who'd bought a 2013 V4 on Friday, it's engine blew its guts all over Copse corner and he wasn't sure what to do next, don't be him mate and good luck
Thanks for that mate, its from a reputable dealer with a warranty, fingers crossed it doesn't go pop!!!
