  1. Some of you have been lucky enough to have your new DVT's a while now (lucky people), so has anybody arrived at an average mileage per tank or litre yet ?

  2. Bikes are too new. You need several thousands of miles on the clock before you start to get a real world figure. Andy

  3. I have done well over 2,000 miles on mine so far, but setting off on a continental tour next month. Consumption naturally depends on how you use it, but in mixed going seems to work out at about 50 mpg.

  4. While I was test riding around 3 hours I get 43 mpg in city , B roads then 52 mpg on motorway . it is quite amazing .

  5. So far mines is averaging about 53 over 250 miles :)

  6. Well yes, but you must be still running in. After you open it up a bit naturally that figure will worsen somewhat.

  7. Cheers lads, it would appear that what their saying about improved mpg isn't a fib then

  8. I went n holidays with a friend who has a 2015 MTS DVT, and I have 2013 MTS. We did 2000 miles in the week. Now let me tell you that each time we refuelled, both bikes took identical amounts of petrol, and I would have to work my engine harder to keep up,as the new engine offers quite a bit more on the road than my engine for sure!.
