Hi ,been offered a pair of pannier brackets for my MS 2004 but want to know if they only fit Ducati boxes....been told that normal Givi types (Monokey) will fit as well....???....can someone shed some light please...As I didn`t want to find out that only genuine boxes fit and they are EXPENSIVE..!! Cheers....
Just to make sure....2004 or 2014? I have a set of red ones from a 2010 model which should fit a 2014
From what I recall the brackets are ducati specific, as are the panniers. These were made by Nonfango, who went bust and were then taken over by Givi. Other non ducati Givi cases do not share the same mounting arrangement. Its the top box plate that fits other givi top boxes, but not panniers. I could be wrong, but believe the hard panniers are not the same as those used on the ST range (they are very similar though). I mention this so you dont get caught out buying the wrong ones Hope that helps.
Hi, yes i called a local dealer and they said the same ....panniers are ducati only...top plate is givi.....another way of making you spend mega on a set of panniers......teeving lot...!!
