MTS 1000 panniers and rails, the impossible quest?

  1. Searching options for pannier rails and suitable boxes seems to be an impossible task, does anyone know of a set of rails that may not be specified for the 1000 but will actually fit? Only options found, so far, are second hand OEM kit (none available) or Hepco and Becker set up at around £550 with mixed reviews.

  7. If I had a welder and skill I would. I just do not see why some of them cost like 130 - 160 GBP for nothing more then two bars.
