Yea, but why put it on an auction site it you don't let people bidding on it have a chance of buying it?
To gain interest, it's his item he can do what he likes with it in my opinion, if someone offers the money you want then get it sold, too often I have been let down by the winning bidder when I could have sold to someone with a cash offer.
Yes I realise that, and I understand that if someone offers the money that you are after, then it makes sense to sell. But if you put it on an auction site as opposed to a classified ad then its also fair to let the auction run if you have bidders, one of which was me. It seems we have different experiences, I have sold loads on ebay and have never been let down by a wining bidder, also I have had many requests to remove an item for a price. If there are people bidding I have never then removed the item. Each to his own I guess, I just thought it was an auction, you know, highest bidder wins and all that.
