Took early train today to Cardiff and collected my 72 reg MTS V2. Rode it 160miles back to London with a stop for fuel and quick lunch. What a machine! Very stable at highway speed+ even at near freezing temp. Great induction noise on open gas but equally quiet in the city which is practical. Has the plain vanilla suspension which I found perfectly balancing control and comfort. Very well build machine too. Like the switches and although it's 1.5yr w 3k miles is really looking indistinguishable to a new one. Only issue I had was with the wind noise in the helmet at cruising speed. I'm 6ft1 and had to assume a somewhat awkward position when I wanted to get my head fully behind the raised screen.
