Hi to all. Anyone out there ever used mtx discs & had issues. Came to instal a rear disc on an748 to find fixing bolts heads catching the bracket. Having compared the original to this one i found the depth that the bolt heads sit in different,the original being deeper. Thanks
Not mtx but I have a Moto-master 'flame' rear disc and had the same problem with the bolts not clearing the caliper bracket and so preventing the wheel from rotating. They told me they'd never seen the problem before (maybe never sold any previously?). The disc is thicker than the original so I machined a shallow counterbore into the mounting holes and all was good.
