821 Muddy Back

  1. Anyone else end up with a really dirty back and bag after a damp ride?

Everytime it decides to rain, I get home and my back is covered in grit and my bag is like it's been dragged along the road, anything I can do to stop this, never happens on any of my bikes in the past

  2. My RSV4 was the same, even with the standard numberplate holder. Is yours standard, or have you fitted a tail tidy?

  3. Oh
Mine has a tail tidy now, but did the same thing even with the stock one :/

  4. It's a feature of all Monsters. Not really anything you can do about it unless you want to build your own hugger that covers the whole of the top of the rear wheel.

  5. I have the same issue with my 821, and I also have the tail tidy. I also fitted an extension on the rear hugger, from Pyramid Plastics, hoping that would solve the problem, but unfortunately not. It's a design fault, in that the hole in the centre of the tail unit, I'm looking at options to cover it and if that doesn't do it, I'll give up.
