Multi Bike Insurance Or Traders Policy?

Discussion in 'Insurance - Sponsored by Ducati Insurance' started by quantuman, Apr 20, 2016.

  1. Hi Peeps, I have several Ducati's and other Jap bikes.... Can anyone advise on the best way to insure 3 or 4 bikes cheaply? Many thanks....

  2. Lots and lots of quotes, I'm with mce, ebike before that but there are loads offering cover , going down the trader route is sometimes cheaper but the excess is usually very high and cover can be complicated if the bikes are registered to you .

  3. If your not a trader then you should not have trader policy. Plus now a days a lot do ask for proof of trading

  4. Bikesure...£820 for +£45K worth of bikes (998S, MTS1200PP x 2, KTM and a type 14 AJS).
One very recent claim and a "ride it like you stole it" drivers license, as seen in many a local magistrates court.
West London post code. Just under 50 year old.

I think they insure the most expensive bike, then add so much for each £10K worth of extra cover.
