  1. My Multi 1200 is at 42000km and I think it needs new clutch plates. How can you tell and what do I go for? Original Ducati or after market?
    Cheers!

  2. Best way to find out is jam the front wheel up against a wall, stick it in 6th and give it a few reve and let the clutch lever out. keep your front brake on though. If it stalls then there probs ok if your engine runs but under load their goosed.

  3. In the past I've gone down the road of, if it drags when you select a gear then slips after leaving the clutch out, its feck'd.
But I could be wrong ?

  4. Given that the design of the clutch on the Multi is both slipper and servo, the question is: when the plates wear out, does this manifest in the same way as for a traditional (non-slipper non-servo) clutch? Or differently?

  5. Reviving this. When pulling away slightly hard (not a race start, just not a crawl) I hear a slight noise and then all is well. Other gears are fine. Tried to let the clutch out quicker to see if that would do anything and it didn't like it. Sounded and felt like clutch slip. Any ideas?
