sometimes my dash goes to the 1000 en without my setting it and the bike will not then start, any ideas anyone. thanks
Nope sorry gun dogs no idea! I know there have been some earthing issues with the mutleys and their dashboards/ instrument clusters, but the symptoms present themselves in the form of all or some of the warning lights glowing dimly when the indicator lights flash or the high beam light is on!

G'Day Gundogs welcome to the forum It is something that usualy happens to the boys in america, I can't seem to get onto Multistrada.net at the mo to see what they have done to overcome this. battery all charged up ? should read about 13.5 volts unplug and reconnect the dash...maybe a dodgy connection (hold the dash when you reconnect because those little rubber mounts don't take much to rip them off) Earth points cleaned ? (engine and ecu)
Is the EOBD light lit? yellow light on far right of dash idiot lights if so the fault code is found by turning on the ignition whilst holding the A button down
