Hi guys, does anyone know what brake pads are used as stock on the Multi V4? I'm not finding them strong enough and would like to try a different pad / material. Had the same brake set up (Stylema) on the 2020 1290 Superduke previously and currently on my Panigale V4S and the stopping power on the Multi is nowhere near either of those at the moment. Thanks.
Brembro Race Road pads , Ducati Coventry recommend as asked the same question as finding I wanted more bite .
Not sure the Multistrada shares the same front brake master cylinder with the Panigale V4 which would explain the difference in feel. Andy
Not had chance yet as on holiday now for 2 weeks , once back I will let you know . Feeling is that it will improve due to the material change , so this will be an improvement on the touring pads due to be better heat dispersing, which in turn make the brakes better and your fluid cooler on those days of hard riding .
Despite using the same calipers on several different bikes, the OEM pads are different compounds depending on the model. Changing the pads to say those off a Panigale, would give a different feel. Changing to an aftermarket non OEM pad, be it Brembo, SBS etc. would give similar improvements.
