It's time to part with my Multi, it has under 21k miles, full service history and a few extras. It would be a shame to put it back to standard so first off I'll try n sell it "as is" It has MWR air filter Quat D exhaust (quite loud but passes MOT) Scottoiler -Electronic version An MRA screen / cut down std screen Winglets. Best thing I've found to help buffeting Ducati panniers + oversize pannier lids Chain n sprockets have around 1k on them The bike was tuned by CJS Bristol ( look him up, he's a genius). The bike runs very well compared to standard (especially on Shell Advance) and as a bonus it rose from 132-148bhp at the rear wheel with circa 10-15% more tq across the range. In light of the extras and the money spent getting it right I'm looking for £6999, no low balls please, I've a reasonable trade in agreed on my next steed and I'll just sell the bits off separately. I'm located in Somerset Photos to follow once I've had a chance to prepare it for sale. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I know you are hoping to sell your Multistrada as is but ....... if you decide to part out some of the aftermarket bits, can I have an opportunity to negotiate on the QDs please ? Andy
Noooo he's going to sell to me......please £5K is a good price for what is nearly the base model on a 10 plate.
Thanks for the offer Aircon, you of all people should know what a great bike it has become since CJS fettled it. £6250 and it's yours, lock stock n barrel. Haven't looked in on the forum much lately, good to see the same ole faces are still here. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Andy, there's a good chance I'll be px'ing the bike so if I get time I'll take off what I can The QD system is visually cosmetically in great condition, there is however a problem, the bracket for the centre stand has cried enough and the hairline crack grew until it parted company. It has no effect on the pipes performance other than an inability to hold the stand in place! I'm sure it would be a 5 minute job for a welder but I haven't been arsed to take it off! If you're still interested let me know and I'll get back to you in a week or so if it hasn't sold Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I know I shouldn't bite.... 1- it's not a base model, it's an ABS don't ya know! 2- it is not only adorned with trinketry but has been fettled to ensure said trinketry is not just ornamental, it actually works proper like. 3- IMHO, and cos I need the loot, I reckon anything with CJS on it should double the value so I'm being quite generous really!! Sorry, your right. Base models are very rare. But non S model (NO OHLINS) was quite a few thousand cheaper. And now we are only £1226 adrift in our expectations. I sold a cjs S-model with loads of good Farkles for less a year ago.
There's a bit of fat in the deal but too much lower I might as well trade and sell the farkles. Gotta give it a go, keeps the missus happy!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I totally agree.... My hyper and z1ooo have been cjs'd..... Its amazing what he gets out of them... Sent from my SM-P900 using Tapatalk
The quiet has been deafening (advertised elsewhere too) so I guess it's time to start pulling the shiny bits off, shame to disassemble a perfectly running bike and return it to what the emissions gestapo insist it must be. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
