I got this link yesterday, thought I'd share. I dont got a Multi but article is worth a look eitherway. There is a video link on this page. Ducati - Ride longer with your Multistrada - The 50.000Km Motorrad Test PDF version here on on the page link above. http://www.ducati.com/cms-web/upl/doc/News/pdf/Motorrad_eng.pdf
nice one thanks. quite interesting to read the performance is better at 50,000km than 2,600km, validates my impression that my fuel consumption keeps getting better (now at 6,000 miles)
this article demonstrates the Multi is more reliable than a GS. 1098 owners should not look at the reliability table. It is right at the bottom with 30 points. This in a test presumably funded by Ducati.
Mines done over 40,000 Kilometers. Glad I've not kept track of how much it's cost me* or the missus would want a new car! Mainly toys, like Ohlins steering damper, Decat, LeoVince pipes, luggage, rearsets, screens, levers, engine/frame protection. All the carbon and special seats were on when i got it. Oh...and the massive repairs on the suspension. Anyone know German and would be prepared to let the test house know how to repair the P!ss P00r back brake (ABS bleed nipples). I've emailed Ducati, but heard nothing yet, nor expect to.
