Hi All. I have a 2013my and have decated it. Bought a Dominator decat pipe as really good value looking at some others. I love the look of the standard pipe but it has no baffles in it if I understand correctly? so it is rather LOUD! Does anyone know of any way to muffle it slightly, still using the stock end can, or of anyone that can fabricate something. The other alternatives are A. Keep it as is, just waking the dead! B. Put a different end can on it. Dominator do a really good value end can that looks ok, with a DB killer but that only makes around 4 or 5 DB difference. I think without it it is about 5000db's
Personally I would find a way of funding a second hand termi system. I tried all sorts with my 2011S , ended up that I needed so many baffles and washers that The bike probably had less power than when it standard. The noise , as lovely as it is was just to loud for any distance. Along with the noise cameras that are popping up .
I had a Arrow on a 2012 and the baffle in that made a good difference, as does the baffle in a full termi on a 2013. Still it's not exactly quiet but the arrow was ear bleeding without the termi slightly less bloody. In between I had a road legal SC project decat which was about right.
