  1. Hi all.
Can anyone recommend where I can get one of these. I don't want a top box, just a backrest for my OH.

  2. The top box is brilliant, not the prettiest but so practical, we take additional clothing and it will store two helmets.
Really comfortable for the pillion, a back rest? Really?

  4. They don’t actually sell the 48L one for the 2013 model any more and I just don’t like top boxes - subjective but that’s how I feel. I’ve gone ahead and ordered the backrest from Palmer products as twin4me kindly mentioned. White piping for a white (chrome) bike, with a built in rack for helmet storage and easy to remove when not taking the wife on the back.

  5. The top box is removed with a press on the button, if I'm riding solo and out for a blast it's off, if I go into London I need the chain and padlock and helmet storage, so simple.

  6. I know Mike. I just don’t like top boxes and, even if Ducati still sold the 48L ones, they were around £500 so he backrest at £133 was a clear winner. I have the panniers for any other luggage requirements. I took a look on the Givi website and they do a 47L box but, again, couldn’t convince myself!

  7. Up to you
