Multistrada Engine Paint Touch Up

As somebody once said....They all do that sir!Fraid I cant help with the paint.

 

Smooth Hammerite ,maybe?

 

As the paint flakes, I wouldn't think touch up would be any use. On the MS I had, there were large areas that needed doing. Smooth Hammerite maybe the way to go but I'd take the existing paint off first.
Coincidentally I've just had my 900 motor soda blasted and am about to paint it. I've been recommended PJ1 for black, but will be interested to see what you are recommended. Best of luck.

 

Once the cases start to flake, then that's it. Even if you touch it up carefully the corrosion creeps in under the old paint and lifts it in great blisters.

 

You can get the touch up from ebay but as mentioned it may not last.

 

Or,you could use any old cheap emulsion,like ducati do.
