You know the big bulbous exhaust section after the pipes from each cylinder meet,,Is that a catalytic converter or just a big pre silencer?? I ask because I removed my silencer and ran the engine for a bit(like you do,to annoy the neighbours because they wake me up sometimes with their fornication noises((they are over 60 btw)And It wasn't much louder with the can removed. Any help is much appreciated.
Someone on the usa_naziland ducati site cut one in two. Removed the cat-filter & rewelded it. I think a few people have done that in the uk also.
