Multistrada making its own mileage?

  1. Hi folks has anyone else had this or know why it's happened,

    I am still running in the bike so paying very close attention to the mileage count and had done just over 400 miles (about 405ish).

    After disconnecting the battery briefly to fit the sat-nav loom the mileage has jumped to 657 miles?

    Bit pissed off as I wanted to ride it tmrw but can't now because I don't want to invalidate the warranty by going too far over the service interval.

    Any thoughts .... :eek:

  2. Has the odometer reverted to kilometres? Instructions on here somewhere for changing.it back.

  4. Thanks man, shat a brick; probably would have worked it out myself when my speed went over 200 :biggrin: .... doh!

  5. I am sure there is some leeway in running over the 600 mile mark, I doubt very much that the warranty would be invalidated by going over by a hundred miles or so.
