I can put the seat into the proper location between the 2 retaining clips beneath the petrol tank when the seat does not have the raisers attached ! I don’t seem to be able to do the same when I attach the 2 plastic sides to raise the seat height ! I would assume that you should be able to do so as the seat moves about when it’s on the higher setting ! Any suggestions/ advice would be appreciated
There should be a locator 'pin' thats about 1.5cm thick and 1cm deep. It's held into place by a screw off centre through the cylinder, it'll be found fastened to the bike on the left hand side where the seat sits. Loosen it as it may need to be moved slightly to allow the seat to slot in. Just be sure to tighten it back up once your seat is aligned. No pics to hand, but it's hard to miss it.
I know what you’re talking about! I actually removed that thinking that it may be obstructing me from positioning the seat into the slots just under the petrol tank !
There is an additional piece which bolts onto the back part of the seat when you have it in the higher position as well as the side sections. Are you missing this?
I think you have just solved my problem! I only have the 2 side sections and having just looked at a parts diagram there is a 3rd piece I don’t have ! Thank you
