I run a 1260s, is there a mounting kit that is also required to fit panniers to the bike?

If you have the base model and the backs of the pillion peg brackets have just the threaded holes, then yes, you'll need the additional parts here (aside from the panniers). That's what the OP is offering in addition. Around another £100 plus VAT from your local Ducati dealer if buying new.

 

You fit your lock barrels and then just have the same key for everything

 

I am going to leave it as you are a bit far away and cost of red inserts ramp it up a bit too much.
