hi everyone just got back from 2000 mile run down to Pyrenees on my multi 2013 gt and engine error light on most the time but that's always. On lol but on a few occasions bike was stuttering on acceleration so bad once had to pull off and turn it off then it was ok after restarted but the other times it cleared itself after bout 10 mins of riding no misfiring/ backfiring just badly hesitant like fuel starvation any ideas ? My exhaust valve has been taken out so can't be that thanks in advance
Sounds like you have a sensor and or component breaking down causing intermittent problem. Easiest way to go get fault codes read and hopefully diagnose that way.
Yeah I going to get it booked into hyside Romford see what comes up was just wondering if anyone had similar probs save me hassle and money it spends it life having codes read lol
Looking at the manual it looks like the fuel filter integrated within the fuel pump, located in the tank. Recently Wayne58 kindly posted the manual, check his recent postings, i am a computer numpty so i cannot attach it etc.
Xlent thanks for that unfortunately it's later model manual mine 2013 model I see if can find one on here
Say it Slowly...... "Mul.....Ti.....Stra.....da"..... I watched the Kings Speech, loads of good tips there.
tank and bits etc will be the same, ffs the fuel level thingy is still unfixed so very unlikely anything else has changed in the tank area .
This is the problem I currently have. Ducati Mcr said the faulty traction control is confusing the ECU making it feel rough. Got it booked in later this month.
No didn't notice mainly has happened when ask for power once overtaking the other pulling up a mountain
2014 MS gt. Had the same problem. It was especially bad in first gear. Acceleration would catch, go flat then surge. It was chronic and getting worse. Made any slow manoeuvre scary and pulling around a corner uphill from a stop it's own adrenalin rush. Mark at the Bike Shoppe, a specialty Ducati/BMW shop in Edmonton, Alberta Canada diagnosed the issue as throttle position sensor deficiency. We had to replace the throttle bodies because the TPS is not separately servicable. It was pricey but covered by an extended warranty. HUGE difference. Lowspeed moves are now a breeze instead of a drama. It has made the power smoother at all speeds in all gears.
