I really like it. I have one myself without the bars and zorst. You could go all out GT and get the screen, knee stickers, lights and black handle bars. I would like to see that so I can see which parts I can add to mine.
I like those engine bars but when I search for them I can only find the type that don't have the front brace near the radiator, any ideas?
Off topic a bit, your rear indicator lense still looks clear, mine has gone discoloured after only 450 miles due to the full termi, its that bad i have ordered some smoked rear lenses.
The shark fins makes the styling too fussy; like a BMW. Ducatis stand out because of their subtle detailing. I use Ventureshield to protect the paintwork. As I mentioned before on previous threads, I actually quite like the shorty screen and bar height. Allows me to crouch forward for a more sporting stance. Wind protection is afforded by the Wunderlich screen extension which works better than the GT screen anyway. Fog lights can be added anytime. But given how good the LEDs are, and I am mostly city commuting, they are just a battery and cash drain. I mean, I installed radiator guards to prevent stone damage. Then I put expensive foglights in front of the guards... If you're around London or SE, let me know. Will also be attending the Strada Tour at my dealer's on 1 June. These are the Touratech ones which have a bar across the front, as is the Ducati OEM version. I think SW-motech has it as well. Maybe I have been cleaning it more often (which is not a lot, but more compared to my first Multi!). But I suspect it might have been because I use almost exclusively 97-98 RON fuel. the higher RON means less "popping", which is atmospheric detonation of unburnt fuel. So less is less burning, heat and smoke at the tail end. I do wonder how long before they fall off with that hair dryer blasting all the time. Tail-tidy?
in case you've missed it, there are other small bits and pieces added to it. Ventureshield all over paintwork R&G Radiator and oil cooler guards. R&G fork sliders Touratech Front cylinder Guard Rizoma waterpump guard.
Tail tidy, Short rear guard - Ducati Multistrada Accessories No its not dirty, the heat has turned the lense to a smoke colour, perhaps you are not trying hard enough
Those Touratech crashbars look the least obvious of all the ones i have seen. Whatever is fitted i think the best you could hope for them is to minimize damage to the bodywork and most importantly the radiator.
Err, this is a multistrada forum. And its really a dig at the GT. Had all the things I wanted, except its in the wrong colour! Really annoyed with Ducati for betraying the Rosso. Took me a whole night to decide which one to get. In the end decided it has to be red. Forced to make up to the same spec myself. The point of these pics is because someone asked for it in another thread, and also for you all to see how a GT in red might look like. I'm lobbying Ducati UK to come up with a Touring Pack. When I spoke to them at the Excel, they had a lot of inquiries about GTs in red. No Simmy, you're probably right. I don't really push it that hard. Only used the Sport mode properly once so far (see my Sport mode thread). Will do so more often now the temps permit. But generally other modes have more than enough oomph for my needs.
Fig you need to consult Trinny & Suzanna, that yellow Top Box is soooooo 1977. That's just clashing with the red lines too much darling.
I was out with a guy with one of the Short rear guard - Ducati Multistrada Accessories looks great, but you cannot see the indicators!
The touratech bars are the most expensive but they do look neat and are made from stainless rather than plain steel.
