Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by Sicilian, Dec 15, 2022.

  1. Anyone here using the lowered heated seat? If so whats the comfort like compared to the stock seat?

  2. Yes. I Have it. It’s more comfy than the standard seat imho.

  3. Just read on some sites that the lowered seat has 50mm of padding

  4. I also use one and have done two weekend tours on it and I find it very comfortable, more comfortable than the original and far better looking with a nice MTS V4S logo on it.

  5. I also have the lowered/heated seat and while it is comfortable for 600 kms ride, I havent actually tried the stock seat so cant compare....

  6. It could have 150mm of padding but it’ll only be as comfortable as the “give” the foam has…….which could be 2mm if it’s hard foam :)

  7. I've got it and as others have said, it's more comfy than the stock seat; unlike the lowered seat I had on my 1260 which I used twice before going back to stock .

On the V4, it's definitely a winner :upyeah:

  8. She's being delivered tomorrow, dealer had a lowered seat in stock, so thats coming tomorrow to. Doubt I'll be out on her anytime soon with this crappy weather. We've still got loads of snow and ice around. Doesn't look like theres gonna be any dry days over Xmas & New Year either :(

  9. I’ve done 3500 miles on the lowered seat and no complaints at all including a couple of 280 miles in a day trips.

  10. Took my new Multi V4S out today for the first time. Roads nice and dry today :) Did 81 miles on the lowered seat and found it extremely comfortable.

  11. 3k done on mine with no problems, very comfortable but not very warm

  12. I must be only one that has a really hot lowered heated seat. I have only ever had mine on low and have always been wearing warm winter trousers and I always have to turn it off after about 20 minutes as I'm baking by then!!

  15. I've got no complaints about the seat from a heating perspective. Can take a little to warm me (but I'm wearing leathers so maybe that's harder than textiles to get the heat through), but once there, it's toasty. Usually turn it down to low pretty quickly after it gets up to temp.

  16. Mines bloody hot, makes all the skiddies appear after a ride. That might not be the heated seat though actually.

  18. Have had mine for 90% of my ownership. Very comfy and warms as well as the stock seat.

  19. Mine is comfy but in cold weather it takes ages to heat up then gets too hot and even if I switch it off it seems to stay too hot

  20. Update to this thread. I found the lower seat comfy only in the higher postion. If I put in the low position I find it very uncomfortable after 1-2 hours. I think its the preassure points on my backside. I in the higher position the seats moves back and approx 1/2inch higher.
