Please could any one suggest where its best to buy some spares with out re mortgaging my house. Due to the fact I jet washed my Multistrader 1200S ABS 2011 model (Don't know why as Ive had bikes for 25 years so should have known better) after is was covered in salt from riding recently in Jan during the cold snap. My gear indicator literally runs through 1 N 2 3 4 5 6 constantly now even when stationary. My bike is unsafe to ride due to the wrong fuel mapping resulting from it (again... self inflicted due to jet wash). Having read all the useful forums I am going to replace the sensor my self then see if that cures it. I also discovered I need a replacement Exhaust valve cable. Ive found nothing on ebay or any where else I could think of. I am happy to go to the main dealers but would if possible like to try other options first. Any advice would be appreciated.
