Mutleys are so special we have our own thread for being spotted.:Angelic: Multi spotted (alt....was it you?).... | Page 17 | Ducati Forum
Do you go round past the beefeater (towards bath) in the evenings and the opposite way in the mornings?....im in the car at the moment but im sure ive seen you while on my hyper (1100evo) - going the same way...
Yep - same for me....in the car til at least the end of march to and from work (as im giving a workmate a lift to work until then) but that should time about just right for a. the weather to get better and b. my supermoto project should be finished by then, although most of last year (the summer months) were spent on the hyper as my RSV4 was sitting in the garage in a million pieces waiting for the Italians to make the parts...
ive only met one person on this site (when he came to my house to drop off some pipes) and I do see ducati owners in Riders and think "shall I go over and see if theyre on the forum" but then stop short as its like a fucking freemasons secret code...."so.....you...er...on the forum then?"
I don't go up Riders at all unless it's bike related, prefer the café in Fowlers, was down there yesterday. I've also had 2 RSV4's....I feel your pain !!!
Ah - I was in fowlers on Saturday - nipped down to get some heated grips....my mate at work has been on at me for ages about how good they are - always steered (pardon the pun) against buying any as another one of the lads in work had some and the amount of times we've had to bump start him cos of a flat batter put me off but the new oxford ones are auto sensing so they switch themselves off anyway but ive got a relay to add in as well just to double bubble. I never really go in the café as when I go down im usually on my own and also my only other mate left with a bike is 30 odd miles away...25 years ago we all had them but now only just the 2 of us....don't really know anyone else apart from a few lads in work...
We must try and hook up next time , I pop down there most weekend at some point, usually food related I met my mate yesterday and drooled over his Panigale.
Yeah - that'd be nice...I only live about a mile away....I can kind of get away with it on the weekends...."just nipping down fowlers to get some oil/brake pads/spares etc etc etc...." Im trying to steer away from food at the moment - pigged out over xmas so wife has put me on a diet - which is going well....lost just over a stone since the 3rd...although im permanently hungry at the moment...
Still going strong - just had my afternoon apple.....but February will be tough as every weekend we're out....and usually eating...the bit I hate the most is having to exercise as well, something which I didn't do in December atall...apart from going from the sitting room to the kitchen or, from the garage to the kitchen if I was working on the supermoto...
Well im just under 14 at the moment - apparently the right weight for me is 13 - another stone to go....which is probably going to be the hardest...
Nah - running doesn't do it for me....we have a treadmill, a 40 minute run 5 times a week shifted literally nothing...plyo...that's the only thing that makes a dent....
Heh - the most soul destroying is our youngest, end of last year had his appendix removed (which was pretty serious at the time and landed him in hospital for a few weeks) he's only 6 and lost loads of weight and he cant put it back on - little tyke just eats biscuits and crisps and anything else fattening we can get in him and he stays thin as a rake...
