Mv Agusta F4 2009

  1. If one had discovered an MV Agusta F4 2009 with 2500 miles on the clock in good nick for around 5k would one be urged to go and buy it? I'm certain there is a bit of money in it at that price.

  2. Depends on how it has been looked after.

  3. I previously owned an F4 312RR and have regretted selling it ever since.:(I would check that the hub pinch bolts have not been over tightened and there are no funny grinding noises come from the hub as they have been known to eat the bearings. If you go ahead with it make sure your chain has a good bit of play as a tight chain can contribute to hub bearing failure. Of all the bikes I have owned from Tuono's to Busa's and everything in between the MV to me had to be ridden 10/10ths to get the best out of it and when you did is was an amazing bike. The MV forum is very informative and the guys are very knowledgeable.

    Good luck!

  4. I think I'm going to have to get the urge to buy an F4 out of my system shortly as well - quite fancied the Senna which was on e-bay recently but resisted (just)

  5. I didn't get the one that I found today in the end. It was a HPI repo that was being sold on a salvage auction site. Bidding went up to 5k but reserve wasn't met. Shame.
