Ahh, the natural successor to the 916, should have been the 999 until Tamburini left Ducati to work for rivals MV! Nice bike, just would have been better with a twin bolted in!
Stunning,enjoy it. Amazing how the Italians can produce such works of art, but the Japanese cannot get close.
Some are blinded by marketing and fashion - stick those colours on an R1M and it would be just as stunning :Smuggrin:
No an R1M would not be as stunning, because the finesse of and flow of Italian design is different to the Japanese. It isn't just Italian motorcycles is it? Look at Italian designed clothes,shoes,cars, furniture and the list goes on.
I knew that would get you going but if someone photo shopped an R1 you would see I was correct here you go with your Italian design theory...
