Looks like an unpainted airfix kit model with some imperfections in the injection mouldings.
Maybe it looks better in real life, but I'd take the standard classic red and silver version everyday.

 

That sucks. Too bad really as MV usually have beautiful bikes.

Just to add another colourful MV Agusta to the thread. The Veloce is best in it’s Alpina iteration

 

This is the one. I will never own one, and that is probably for the best (never meet your idols?), but it was back when the very best motorcycles were mechanical art because they were pure engineering statements, not what they have become - lifestyle statements adorned with pseudo art.
