No not Mr Rossi....................she is off to Louigi Moto to meet Rich, I only had it a few weeks and it broke down on my first ride, after only 7 miles, do i really want to sell my GSXR?, its the usual electrical issues on the early bikes that have let me down, I was recommended by a forum member to go to Louigi moto, so i've booked her in for a service and a checkover to bring her up to speed, need a few bits and bob's replaced so i hope he can help me out with those, looking forward to having a chat with Rich over a brew, anyway here she is before the trip, going to go back to gold wheels, loose the open clutch cover for a standard one and get the front mudguard replaced for a red item, when i find a good one, i'll keep you all updated on progress
& Gold Frame ... You won't be disappointed with Rich & The Boy's at Louigi Moto , been looking after my Duke's for many year's . Highly Recommended ...
Frame and wheels need to match imo, so change both or none Hopefully all will be well in your Ducati ownership world from here on
Judging by the locks, you dont keep that in the garage do you? Not too sure about the bike lock across the back wheel thou  The bike looks in great shape and I look forward to seeing the pics of the changes. No wheely bin, but you've still got a nice mattress in the background :biggrin:
The wheels bin is out of sight at the moment, as I'm fairly new on here I thought it may be a little bit cheeky to include one in the photograph at this time:biggrin:, the mattress in the background is actually a gsxr1000 hiding away awaiting its new home
Rich will sort ya... I prefer the black wheels and mine will be getting blacked in the winter...
WOW!!!!!! Got to Louigi moto and it was like going to Ducati heaven, and when I met Rich it was like I'd known him for years, he is a true Ducati enthusiast, I know my bike is in safe hands, decided on the wheel colour ......... Satin black with a red pinstripe, to match the frame, he new so much about how the bike should really be, I'll update with how she is doing as soon as possible.
Personally I think the bike looks great as it is. The black wheels are different but look cool and mean and match the frame - and don't show the dirt. And the mudguard goes with the whole colour scheme. Still, it's your bike and you should do whatever makes you happy.
I like the bike as it is. I understand the idea of returning the look to its former glory....... But it looks good as it is now!
I like it, keep it like it is, there is nothing wrong with black wheels and a bit of carbon. Just my opinion but I may be biased. Steve
No no no he was riding a Suzuki. No good fitting carbon and eating pies or is that the reason for fitting carbon ? Steve
