Let this thread be about the issues and you have had with your new bike and how, or if they were rectified. You never know, some Italian Engineer in an old factory in Bologna, just might be reading this.
My 999 was the first hand built 999 prototype ever made, this was confirmed after submitting my evidence to the Ducati Factory via a phone call from a nice lady. She was going to email me but then nearly got the sack for telling me and was told not to send a mail to confirm in writing. I would like to talk to the person directly who stopped her sending the email and who upset her. I am prepared to fly over and meet face to face. Why cheat and lie to people who are genuinely interested in the history of your brand and collect the same? I have more on this, but openly to Ducati Italy I ask why you now take this approach?
not really had any. had a starting issue from day one with my fugly bought from DG at 2.5k and three years old. v.intermittent at first eventually after about two or three years i diagnosed and repaired myself. i believe they did there best and bent over backwards to attempt to rectify and in no way am i criticizing them. in fact i was more than happy to buy another from them and come the right time and bike i will deffo get another from them. no experience with the new models but apart from the flaky engine lacquer on the fugly and with general experience to back it up both the fugly 1100s and 848 eve coarse se are v.well made. and ubber reliable. and as i keep saying, with zero pampering. touching wood right now.
lol, I have a certifcate that says im not though, filled in by the manufacturers an all. Im one of one, truly unique.
