Hi all, i'm Chris AKA bazz. Just picked up my 2012 1199 Panigale today from Wolverhampton Ducati and i am over the moon :Shamefullyembarrased: She is my first ever duke and i am looking forward to give her a good blast soon. Didn't really get chance back from the dealer as i got caught out with the weather. I have ridden ducati's in the past briefly but I've always had jap bikes, last bike i owned was a Suzuki GSXR 750 K6 and i am also riding at the minute my fathers 1998 Yamaha R1. After recently getting married and after the wedding, a honey moon in italy, seeing and hearing Ducati's across the twisty roads of the Amalfi coast i thought f*ck it, im gonna try one out when i get back and if i like it I'm gonna get one as a reward to myself after the wedding lol. Here are a couple of pics, not great but more will follow.
Welcome, make sure you post up pics of the 100+ soft italian leathers handbags/shoes the wife buys " as a reward to herself after the wedding"......
Thanks for the congrats Yeah there is a massive difference between the two bikes, but love them both in different ways. I've already had the questions about the handbags... "because you've bought a bike.... can i have a new handbag". That first line she uses i have a feeling that is going to be mentioned quite a bit. Here you go couple more pics. Roads were still damp this morning so haven't taken it out of wet mode, but the sun is shining so i am going to go the scening route on the way back home from work. One thing i have noticed and i love the popping sound of the quick shifter, i going back down the gears just to go up again to hear it. First time using one and it sounds amazing and is really good to use!
Lovely........enjoy! What was it about the wedding that was so bad that you had to have a Pani as a reward then
Thanks. Nothing bad about the wedding, it was perfect but we, well i say we... my other half had been planning it since we got engaged 2 years ago, so every bit of cash was going straight towards that. Also everyone I spoke to said that i would get the wedding blues afterwards so to prevent that I bought the Panigale
That's a good, strong answer.....blame her for spending the money and giving you the blues I can hear it now.. "what do you mean that BLOODY bike? It's all your fault I had to buy it in the first place!"
"what do you mean that BLOODY bike? It's all your fault I had to buy it in the first place!" "Expensive? look at all the money we spent on the wedding!" Exactly! These will be my comebacks, hopefully i wont need them!
