Thanks to simmytt I will be taking delivery of a new track bike next month. My D16 is too noisy for the UK and too expensive to contemplate dropping so I have only been doing European trackdays and find myself bimbling round rather than really pushing. This looks like just the job Full crc race fairings and seat Cams dialled in and throttle bodies balanced by JHP Stomp grips Radiator/oil cooler guards Quick release fuel cap Front forks rebuilt and suspension set up by JHP Ohlins steering damper Ohlins ttx rear shock Rear ride height adjuster Carbon swing arm cover Quick release sprocket carrier, 15 tooth front Termi slash cut end cans, ecu and air filter Carbon rear hugger Rizoma rear sets Full GB Racing engine cover set Pro grips and bar end sliders Front fork sliders Hel front brake lines Titax leavers Metzeler race tec, k1 front k2 rear Aluminium top fairing bracket
I'll keep the D16 busy while you're hooning around the track on this then.... PM for delivery details.
£5100 I'm not sure where he got the seat from but sammytt says it was made by crc Ducati 1098 1198 848 EVO CRC Race Fairing Seat Unit
Dave, they are quarter turn dzus fasteners hex head, only the top middle fairing is secured by the standard bolts, even the seat pad has dzus fasteners, the actual seat pad is a crc item
Nice toy you have there however...I would junk the brakes as I found them to be wooden and feeble on my M1100. Upgrade to 4 pad is easy and cheap.
Dave, from experience, slipper clutch and some brembo m4's and you're sorted! Full system with some baffles, custom map and you'll still be able to ride any circuit in the uk.
Dont waste money on a new system,. Afaik from the 848 challenge boys it isnt worth it. Remap and open cans more than enough
I'll not be trying to get any more power out of it. I'm sure it'll be fast enough for me. I'll see how I get on with the brakes and clutch though.
