my new multistrada

  1. Finally the day arrived and i took delivery of my new multistrada from M&S motorcycles in Newcastle, they are really nice people to deal with and made the experience very enjoyable. So having being baffled by all the settings etc. I set off in the snow from Newcastle to Inverness, I rode thru some pretty shitty weather until I got to the border where the weather broke, apart from some patches here and there. after leaving Perth the sun came out andalthough cold the riding was excellent on dry roads and I arrived home safe. I felt sorry for the bike all covered in salt on her first out. So i spent some time cleaning her before she went in the garage.
what a great machine ok i didnt go over 6000 rpm but actually that was fast enough. Gave great confidence all the way.
    Delighted

  2. niner.
Happy new Bike :upyeah:, M&S Newcastle is my local dealer and I have ordered my new Multi from them, Delivery expected any day, I have dealt with them in the past and can honestly say they have always been a pleasure to deal with, Gary the salesman is who I always deal with, but the other lads are sound as well. good luck with your new bike and post up some pictures and reports.

  3. Congratulations, you have great bike - what colour did you go for and which model?

Unfortunately I have to wait a few more weeks before delivery of mine. At least winter may be over by then.

    Happy riding!

  4. I got my Multistrada from them at the start of the month, but decided not to tax it until April when the weather WILL be better. I've put heated grips on so will have to return to them to enable these in the ECU - don't fancy riding in this weather without them!
i found them very good to deal with.

  5. Good choice of bike and dealer.
I haven't bought a bike from anyone else in 20 yrs, which pretty much speaks for itself.

  9. Congrats, im running my 2013 multi on now, I must say that I have ridden it rather briskly as the engine is so gobby I just can't help myself...

  10. Just out of interest, why did you pick M&S over Ducati Glasgow to order your bike from?

  11. Chose M&S over Glasgow due to M&S being quicker on delivery
