The other day I was advised against it -- Manitoba is so cold and dry, it's deemed unnecessary. Bruce Meyers spent most of his time on the US east coast, so perhaps that's where he got the idea...?
I doubt you would need it to be honest, my boat engine is on the water all year round and I’ve never used it on that during periods of lay up and it’s been fine.
