999 Mysterious Bolt...

  1. Hi
    I have had to replace starter motor in my 999s... now after i have put everything together one bolt left... it is i think m6x65
    I have taken only generator cover, pump cover and bviously clutch slave.. scratching my head if there is not something inside i did not screw back but before i open it again somebody will shine some light on me?
    Could not find it in service manual either in part manual

  3. It looks like a cover bolt, have they all been put back? Or maybe slave cylinder?

    Looks like one of the clutch cover bolts, but you didn't take that off...Even more mysterious....:Nailbiting:

  5. no - clutch partretains untouched... i have also disassembled electrical box but tthose screws are in separate tray, good practise to take pictures but i have trusted manual too much...
    Bradders i have checked every single part of cover all bolts as manual size 20 25 and 30

  10. I'm sure I have about a box full of bolts, every time i take something off 1 gets left and I cannot figure what it's from... probably bad, one day my engine will just fall out...
