Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by Marc Mellor, May 9, 2017.

  1. Hi
I have seen there are difficulties getting the high level Navihalter GPS mounts at the moment but if anyone has one they would part with or you know where one may be for sale I would be grateful if you could get in touch with me?
Thanks in advance for any help
    Cheers
    Marc

  2. Ducati now have their own version. See there 2017 acessories book'

  3. Try getting hold of one though. Ordered mine in March with a delivery date of 21st April. Hasn't arrived & dealers don't know when it will.

  4. Yes that looks familiar, I only ordered 3 weeks ago and delivery date is unknown!

  5. I ordered through Ducati when I couldn't get one from Navihalter but apparently Ducati get them from there as well!

  6. You could ring around uk-dealers for if they have one ready in stock (original navihalter)?

  7. spoke to my dealer today about the sat nav mount I ordered and paid for on the 1st march, he now assures me it will be in around the 15th may..
    fingers still crossed then.

  8. I gave up and bought the Engimoto mount.

  9. Had a call from my dealer yesterday. He found 2 Ducati satnav mounts at another dealer. Bought them both. Ones on the way to me at long last. Off touring in 2 days so talk about cutting it close to fitting it!
Not sure if the other is for another customer or spare but give GT Motorcycles Plymouth a try if you're after one. Ask for Pete.

  10. Excuse me asking, but what did you get charged for yours @Philnanks please.

  11. Hi, Recently purchased a 1200DVT (non-S) as my first Ducati and am absolutely loving it! Looking at a few upgrades such as a Sat Nav, I'm looking at the Garmin Zumo 395LM, and like the positioning that the Navihalter and new Ducati mount give above the clocks behind the screen. Unfortunately I understand the Navihalter is no longer currently available so am looking at the Ducati part 9668051A. Does the Zumo fit this mount and what are peoples experiences?

  12. I might be wrong, but I think the Ducati one is a Navihalter, not an Engimoto one, but as I said I could be wrong.

  13. I agree, the Ducati one doe appear very similar to the Navihalter one, but would be interested in opinions on the Ducati ones as they seem to be coming available now but the Navihalter ones are not at the moment.

  14. I was either told or read that the Ducati mount is the same as the Navihalter and it's either made for Ducati or by Ducati on licence.

The final mounting position will be very similar to that on my Engimoto which should be in the attached picture

  15. @Columbus does your Garmin bounce around on the Engimoto ?

  16. £69

  17. I have an Engimoto mount for sale if anybody wants one?
As I wear contact lenses for riding and can't focuse on the screen as it too close when mounted high up.
Had to re mount nav back on the bars.

  18. I had the same problem when I mounted the Sat Nav above the screen and had problems focusing, giving it another go using a navihalter, if this one doesn't work then its back to bar mounted and 1 Navihalter will be up for sale
