So I notice that we are now at 2900 members, and the membership has been rising at a pretty incredible rate recently which is great! Many thanks to Rob for setting up this forum, and can anyone come up with a central venue where we could get as many members together for a meet? I know that a Northern and Southern meet have been suggested, and I am trying to arrange something on the lines of a meet/camp get together at Castle Hedingham which will probably be next year, but it would be wonderful to get as many folk together as possible. It's bl**dy hard enough (impossible) to get Suffolk riders to meet up in one place on their doorstep let alone the whole UK. AL
Yup, Troy tried admirably for this weekend, but ended up with an ever diminishing cock-fest (I think that was one of the terms implied). but, if we don't try, we get a guaranteed nowt. at the age us lot are at, we are all so bloody busy, or too ill/decrepit, or Alzheimer's makes us forget when/where that often it goes to rats. post the date/location of the archery-fest in fenland, along with rudimentary facility availability, and surely even the likes of a few northern monkeys can ride more than 3 tank distances without too much memory loss/bladder problems/arthritic hands (delete or add as applicable). ps - hope the back is on the mend.
Yes I would have liked to have done the Troy weekend, and that's why I kept bumping it. But to no avail. Troys location is fairly central too.
