After a lot of elbow grease and pound notes my Superlight is almost there, just a few cosmetic bits to do now. Big thanks to @Arquebus for all the advice when I first got her much appreciated, now she goes like stink, stops on a sixpence and sounds wonderful Hope you Likey.
Looks fab, i love em , just doing a few simple mods to mine, under seat brackets to stop the seat unit cracking and heavy duty cables to the starter and earth and then back on the road for the summer. Is yours a mk2?
Hi rhubarb, yes she is a MK2, number 373. She certainly draws some interest, even had someone taking photos whilst driving past on the M25 !! Needless to say I smiled for the Camera
Mine was ridiculously loud when I got it as all the wadding was goosed, repacked them the other day and although its still loud its a nice low rumble now, been using it for work last few days, one of my neighbour's did mention she keeps being woken up at 6am when I leave...oops, never mind. Are you on the Superlight register ?
I have registered but not sure if it will be of any benefit personally, just a nice way of keeping a tab on how rare these bikes are becoming. Did a bit of digging and from what I can work out there are only 15 Mk2s registered in the UK.
Thanks Rhubarb and same to you, maybe the mods should add a superlight section so we can see how many are on here
