It’s likely he’ll have approached the band and the answer is why he’s resorted to going to court. $150,000 each across 9 very wealthy and successful people is chicken feed to them. Cobain estate is said to be worth $450 million, his guitar he used for the legendary MTV unplugged set sold for $6 mill.

Clearly the 9 are more than willing to go to court, for me I’d settle on condition it was a one off payment, even though he’s profited from being the baby in the picture previously. (Edit) obvs if I was fabulously wealthy as the 9 are, not as my current and life long earnings have been.
