Hello All. Yesterday I done the deal to buy my first sports bike - 748, which has been on my bucket list for many years. I work for Rolls-Royce which is part of the BMW group, but I chose not to have a company BMW car. Instead I have a company BMW bike which gets changes every 4-5months. Its a great perk, but I just don't love them. They are nice bikes, nice to ride, and nice to have a brand new bike 3 times a year, but they have no sole. My 748bp will be here this weekend and I plan to keep it stock, and have it as a rolling restoration. I don't want a full rebuild and have it off the road for months. I have enough projects like that. I've read this forum lots before buying it, and its its great. I'll post some pictures when it arrives.
