Hi Team, New to the forum after picking up my new 848 a few weeks ago from Riders Bridgewater. Now covered 615 and due her first service  It's a 2010 848 but only registered last month so 12 plate. Modifications so far include Rossi paint job and rear termi setup  Started out my love for Ducati with a 1998 748, then moved onto a KTM 525 smr last year and now back in the Ducati fold again with this - pants down most beautiful bike i've ever ridden. Such ease through the corners - already need new sliders!! Anyway, pictures: Mods to come: billet rear sets and ASV levers (anyone know wheres best to buy them)? Cheers
Cheers for the link! Will give him a go - seen some PP tuning sets on poobay though which look nice. ou know anything about those? Can't seem to find the ASV levers in regular length for love nor money
No sorry, I use GBMOTO rear sets on my 748 but I don't think they do them for the 848/1098/1198 series bikes.
Yeh standard setup so far - having it all adjusted after it's had a bit of time to 'bed in'. Gilles rear sets and ASV levers all ordered up today
For what it's worth, as I'm on my 2nd 848, there is no such thing as the suspension 'bedding in'. Proper suspension set up is a top (the top) priority thing to do before worrying too much about bling. Bling happens of course, but without getting the suspension sorted, in my experience, you won't be getting the best from the bike. Waiting to sort the suspension will only make you kick yourself that you didn't do it earlier. Just make sure you get someone who knows their stuff to do it. Best 1hr labour bill you will ever have.
Welcome to the world of the 848.............................sure you'll love every minute of it:biggrin:
