New 916 Owner From The Netherlands

Discussion in 'Newbies Hangout' started by Flying Dutchman, Sep 26, 2016.

  1. Thanks for having me on this forum.

As a new 916 owner, I was impressed by all the info I found here.
I might need your advice since I'm new to the 916, having owned two 900SS's previously.
The 916 I bought needs new crankshaft bearings, a new experience to me as I will be doing this myself with two mates of mine who are experienced in this.

I have been riding servicing and repairing bikes for almost 30 years now, winter and summer so I think I can say I have some experience.
My other bikes: 2005 Aprilia RSV1000RR Factory and a 2011 Triumph Speed Triple ABS.

Looking forward to learning from you and I will try to share whatever I might know with you.

  8. hello and welcome dude. Pics please, bike or bird.

  9. Not that much to see as the fairings are off.
The fairings were not the original ones.
The last picture shows how she's going to look when I'm done.
I already have found original fairings, except for the seat.
And found some nice Termi's as well. On the pictures you see Bos exhausts, sound very well but, hey, when you say Ducati, you say Termignoni.
