My 996s battery has finally given up taking charge, need a new one. Just checking if there are any specific recommendations, anything to watch out for, good place to buy from etc ?
Just get a good make like yuasa or varta. Worth doing the starter cables while your there mate they transformed the starting of my 996
Pretty straightforward, i did my 1198 in about 30 mins, and fitting instructions came with the package - see @Exige on this forum.
I use Motobatt batteries in my bikes which are available at good prices from Tayna: https://www.tayna.co.uk/ They appear to last longer if in a bike that isn't used every day/week, and recover well after a long winter break without a trickle charger.
