After a lifetime of sports bikes (ZX6 / R1) I'm looking to change to a Multistrada, would greatly appreciate any pro's and con's encountered by any owners,was looking for a 1200s touring model from 2016. Thanks
Depending on your age - you will never look back - despite being able too - unlike after getting of a sports bike after a few hours and you can hardly move.. They are GREAT!! I had loads of different bikes and my DVT is exellent... best bike I have had (1200S) For me - I would recommend the S... or if you can really afford it .. go for the 1260 S.... deals may start to be available in the dealers as the season comes to an end...
welcome 21kona, the multi-enduro rights the many wrongs with the multistrada. In my opinion of course! as its got a large fuel tank, normal swing arm for changing tires or dealing with punchers. And has all of the bells & whistles the S-model mutley comes with. Such as cornering lights, corning abs & electronic suspension.
Welcome 21Kona, I've just stepped up to a 1260S, my first Ducati though I was intending to buy a 1200S in 2016 but got distracted by the MV Turismo Veloce, an expensive detour to my now realised destiny as a Multistrada owner. Loving mine so far though jumping through hoops trying to find a screen that doesn't suffer from too much wind noise at the moment. Good luck with your search, there are a few 2015 & 2016 DVTs around that I've seen advertised, you might have to travel around a bit to find one though.
