Newish to the forum, been lurking around for a while before making the final decision. Just put a deposit on a very low mileage 2011 MTS and p/exing my GSA. Looking forward to some banter and maybe some rideouts... if you have them.
Also came from a Beemer GSA & I'd say the BM was a nicer bike to ride in traffic & sub 70mph but after that the multi just blows it away, more power, better profile tyres. Even after nearly 18 months it still amazes me on every ride but it takes a bit of getting used to. Good luck with it, i don't think you'll regret it.
This is my consideration - tbh, I dont get (or use) too many opportunities to be riding at post 70mph - occasionally for sure, but otherwise, it is town riding, or country roads and twisties where 70+ aint on the cards - I guess I will see how it feels when I ride it on Saturday
To me it sounds as if you should be testing the 2013 bike. The updates bring the low rev smoothness to close or equal to that of the BM.
